no new tale to tell it's all the same thing
Tonight's one-on-one in Saint Looey should be a little bit different, if not a little more interesting - as opposed to watching the gentleman from Massachusetts and the gentleman from 1600 Pennsylvania try to show who can affect the most bloodlust, they may actually have something approaching a policy discussion.
Those differences that remain between the GOP and the Loyal Opposition can be found mostly on the domestic front - Social Security, healthcare, and to some degree, wages and jobs.
Best bet may be to click over to the local PBS station for NOW w/ Bill Moyers' debate featuring 3rd and 4th party presidential candidates Ralph Nader (I), David Cobb (GR), Michael Badnarik (LIB), and Michael Peroutka (CONS). It goes without saying that a functioning democracy and/or republic of states would offer more than just the freeze-dried homilies of whomever can raise the most money.
