schooly now for the future
The Lab's scholar-in-residence, Gatsby the Cat, keepin' things real.
Remember all that gibberish about Nordhaus and Shellenberger I typed last week?*** It was all true, see! The book is got, and since it looks like there's some considerable relevance to teh thesis, I'll be plowing through it over the next week. I'm also hoping I can put together a year and something's worth of reading and paper-clipping into a thing resembling a review of literature the week after - this of course means no bloggy for you, at least not for the next seven days or so.
This is good, though, all very good: study and school in there here and now equals halfway decent job someplace that Dex can wear t-shirts to, with health insurance and maybe even a girlfriend in the mix. Woo and hoo. I make up to you with this video thing of Lab fave M.I.A. and her superb "$20".
Oh, and this, too. Kucinich Power Go!
*** And of course, after actually reading the book instead of just the reviews, I was almost completely wrong about all those things. Egg on meh face. But more on all that soon.
